Bernardo Silva sees a successful future with Man City

Bernardo Silva says he wants to stay at Manchester City and continue to build on their success for the future.

City secured the Premier League title with five games to spare on Sunday.

"We've always said that the important thing was to win it," Silva told Sky Sports News. "It didn't matter how, but now that we've done it, if we can break a few records we will try.

"It's great because it's so easy to play alongside players like Gabriel [Jesus], Kun [Aguero], Leroy [Sane], [Raheem] Sterling, [Kevin] De Bruyne, [David] Silva, [Iikay] Gundogan.

"It looks so easy because they find you in such good positions, and the way the team plays, so it's been a great experience for me, my first season and I'm already looking forward to the next ones."

It's the first Premier League title under Pep Guardiola and the midfielder puts his manager's influence down to a lot of their success this season.

"I think everyone knows how good he is and the way he likes his teams to play," he said. "It's been fantastic, personally I've learnt so much every day with him.

"Not only with him, but with all the staff and with the players. I'm looking forward to next season to do even better and try to win more titles."
