Manchester City midfielder Bernardo Silva accepts fans want to win the Premier League ahead of the Champions League.
City have won the English title five times and never won Europe's top club competition – and the club and the players have repeatedly stated their ambition to win the Champions League.
But Silva reckoned: “I think from the fans there is greater pressure to win the Premier League. The club, they are a little bit like Paris Saint-Germain, they have never won the Champions' League.
"There is this desire amongst everyone to do something about that because it is the best competition in Europe. So of course we want to go as far as possible.
"We know it is not easy because in Europe you have to play against Real Madrid , Barcelona , Bayern Munich, Juventus , Atletico Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain, the English teams too. I think that these two competitions are the ones where we will look to go as far as possible."
