AC Milan president Silvio Berlusconi insists they have a squad strong enough to compete for the Scudetto next season. "My Milan is stronger than Inter," insists Berlusconi. "From a technical point of view, there is no squad out there as strong as ours.

"There is more to Milan than (Carlo) Ancelotti, (Paolo) Maldini and Kaka."

On new coach Leonardo, Berlusconi added: "Leonardo is the right man to open a new cycle.

"It will not be a defeatist Milan. We have champions like Pato, (Andrea) Pirlo and Ronaldinho and many promising young players. We will start the season with the intention to win everything."
