Silvio Berlusconi is supportive of Elliott Management's ownership of AC Milan.

Berlusconi, who now owns Monza, sold Milan to the club's previous owner Li Yonghong.

"This group gives guarantees to Milan and knows that it will not lose money," he told Milannews.it. "Certainly they will want to resell for a bigger figure.

"(Gonzalo) Higuain is a goleador who was missing from Milan for years but I do not understand why he is not supported by a second forward like Suso.

"I will watch the Derby on television with disappointment for the form and the way Milan plays."
