AC Milan patron Silvio Berlusconi was thrilled with their thumping win over Champions League opponents Arsenal. The Gunners were trounced 4-0 at the San Siro.

Berlusconi said: "It was a perfect performance in both our forward play, where we scored beautiful goals, and in defence where we have not given anything away. We hope to repeat the same performance at Arsenal.

"They were all good, I could not choose one from the bunch.

"Barcelona and Real Madrid are teams that dominate the European scene with merit.

"But I think this team, with all our players, are on par with any in Europe and will dominate in Italy."
