Inter Milan great Beppe Bergomi feels their January market campaign worked against them.
Inter surrendered the Serie A leadership to Juventus before the coronavirus suspension.
Nerazzurri coach Antonio Conte decided to bring in Ashley Young, Victor Moses and Christian Eriksen this winter but Bergomi is not convinced it was such a good idea.
“I think the decline was more mental than physical," Bergomi told Sky Sport Italia.
“I think the team has weakened, especially after the January market."
