Christian Benteke agreed with referee Andre Marriner's decision late in Liverpool's come-from-behind 2-1 win over Crystal Palace on Sunday.
The Belgian striker received slight contact from Eagles defender Damien Delaney in stoppage time when the score was all tied up at 1-1 at Selhurst Park.
Benteke, who stepped up to coolly slot home the 96th minute winner, has been accused of falling forward easily under the feather touch but feels that the match official got it right in the end.
"To be sure I think he touched me otherwise I wouldn't have gone down," he told Sky Sports.
"I think the referee knows better than us and he took the right decision."
