Newcastle boss Rafa Benitez says he has no idea about the recent reports claiming that owner Mike Ashley is once again looking for new investment in the club.

The Spaniard manager saw his side claimed an impressive 1-1 draw with Liverpool at St James' Park on Sunday.

The Magpies have moved up to the ninth spot in the table with ten points.

"I could not hear anything during the 90 minutes, I was just concentrating on the nose and [Philippe] Coutinho and Co!" said Benitez after the match when asked about the recent reports.
