Newcastle United boss Rafa Benitez has pushed the panic button after defeat at home to Brighton.
The Mirror says he hauled his players in for training on Sunday and tough-talking debriefs have been held to shake-up what is going wrong on Tyneside.
He will also hold a series of individual chats with players this week, involving analysing clips of good and bad parts of their performances.
Benitez was due to be an analyst on Sky Sports Monday Night Football Show, reviewing the weekend's action before Arsenal played Leicester.
But he cancelled the rare appearance, concluding it would not be a good look with Newcastle bottom of the league and without a win.
Benitez was replaced by Graeme Souness, but remains in charge at St James's Park after speaking briefly to owner Mike Ashley on Saturday night to be told is was business as usual.
