Benitez backroom staff will follow him out of Newcastle

Rafa Benitez's backroom staff will follow him should he decide to leave Newcastle United.

The Evening Chronicle says Benitez could leave on June 30, with pre-season training starting just four days later.

The Magpies have maintained for months they have no Plan B in place in the event that Benitez goes because they have claimed the former Liverpool and Napoli manager is their No 1 priority.

It is understood that Benitez's coaches Paco de Míguel Moreno, Antonio Gómez and Mikel Antía would all go with him this summer, leaving Newcastle without any familiar figures to take charge of the early part of pre-season.

Were Benitez to take a job in China he may look to bring his coaching team with him, or alternatively he could take a break from management and wait for his next job.
