Benfica striker Darwin Nunez emerges as priority forward target for Arsenal

Arsenal are focusing on Benfica striker Darwin Nunez as their summer transfer target.

The Gunners want to add firepower to their team, after Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang left for Barcelona.

Arsenal are also losing Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah when the season concludes.

According to football.london, Nunez has jumped to the head of Arsenal's recruitment list for the striker position.

Tammy Abraham, Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Alexander Isak and Jonathan David are possible alternatives, if they cannot agree a fee with Benfica for Nunez.

Nunez, who has 26 goals in 33 games this term, is valued at roughly £80 million.
