Benfica president Rui Costa says Goncalo Ramos will only leave for his buyout clause.
Manchester United and Barcelona have been linked with the Portugal international.
And Rui Costa said: "We will try to make adjustments that can benefit the squad, we have the objective of having a winning season and, as such, what I can guarantee is that in January no player will leave, unless it is due to the clause, of course.
"Otherwise, no player who is fundamental to the squad will leave.
"What I can guarantee and promise our fans is what I said at the beginning of the year: this is the sports project, not the financial one."
