Benfica are eyeing FC Utrecht winger Tommy Oar.

tribalfootball.com has learned the young Australia international has come to the attention of Benfica supremo Rui Costa.

Talks have already opened between the two clubs over fee for Oar, who only moved to Holland last year from Brisbane Roar.

Oar is initially slated for Benfica's B team with the view to him pushing for first team selection in 2013.

The left-sided winger would arrive at Benfica along with FC Twente star Ola John as the Portuguese giants prepare to lose Argentine winger Nicolas Gaitan to Manchester United.
