Benfica have jumped into the battle for Bournemouth striker Josh King.

The Mirror says King has emerged as a target for Portuguese giants Benfica.

Bournemouth do not want to lose King, but are now reluctantly listening to offers for the player with just 12 months remaining on his deal.

Manchester United tried to re-sign the 28-year-old in January.

And now Newcastle and Everton are reportedly interested.
