Steven Vitoria admits he is now feeling the best he has since arriving at Philadelphia Union.
The 28-year-old centre-back, who is on a season-long from Portuguese giants Benfica, has strung together five appearances in a row for the Union following an injury-interrupted start to his time in MLS.
Following last weekend's 2-1 win at San Jose Earthquakes, Vitoria spoke of his current condition and that he is eager to carry on the way he has been as Philly chase a play-off position in the Eastern Conference.
"It's been great, I'm not going to lie," Canadian-born Vitoria told reporters. "I haven't felt this good all year.
"Even the last few games that I was playing [before the injury], I was feeling a little discomfort in my hamstring.
"It got to a point where the pain increased and then at first I thought it was groin and it attached onto my hamstring. It was a slow process, but it's all part of the job.
"It's past us and I just want to look forward."
