Atletico Madrid are preparing a bid for Benfica captain Simao Sabrosa.
A Bola says Atletico intend to offer at least £15 million for Simao in the coming days.
Atletico also remain in talks with Porto for Ricardo Quaresma, though are turning to Simao over frustration at the former's asking price.
