Benfica ace Rodrigo Moreno says he enjoyed his time in England.
When with Real Madrid, Rodrigo spent time on-loan with Bolton Wanderers.
Ahead of the Europa League tie with Tottenham, Rodrigo said: "It was my first season as a professional player, I was 19. It was a different experience. It's a very competitive league and gave me things that I did not have.
"It was a very good experience for me and I will always be grateful to Bolton."
On facing Tottenham, the Spain U21 star added: "The tie is between equals. Tottenham have a team of champions, just like Benfica."
