Benevento have named Pippo Inzaghi as new coach.

Inzaghi terminated his contract with Bologna by mutual consent, having been fired in January, so he could be free for this new adventure.

Benevento confirmed on Friday Inzaghi had signed a one-year deal with an option for a second term.

The AC Milan and Juventus great started his management career at San Siro, but only lasted one season, but has enjoyed great success in Serie B.
