Nicklas Bendtner has indicated that he still has a soft spot for the Arsenal Football Club.
The Danish striker spent almost a decade with the Gunners in a frustrating spell that included loan stints at Birmingham City, Sunderland and Juventus.
The 28-year-old recently joined Championship club Nottingham Forest and ahead of Tuesday night's EFL Cup clash with his old club at the City Ground, has spoken of his love for the North Londoners.
"I hope Arsenal win the Premier League," he said.
"I always wanted to play at Highbury because when I was a young boy I liked the club. I knew they had the new stadium so there was a short window to try to play there and it happened.
"That was a dream come true."
