England midfielder Jude Bellingham has heaped praise on team-mate Jordan Henderson after a win over Wales.

The Three Lions were back to their best in the group stages, beating the Welsh 3-0 thanks to a Marcus Rashford double.

Liverpool captain Henderson and Borussia Dortmund's Bellingham, who both started the match, put in an assured display after a poor 0-0 draw with the United States a few days previous.

"I think we had a high energy today," Bellingham told the BBC after the game.

"We realised in the game the other day that we weren't aggressive enough, we were too passive, so it was important for us to kind of be a bit more on the front foot.

"Hendo [Henderson] brings that intensity every time he plays, and when he gives you that confidence to go and press, I can go and push on and Dec [Declan Rice] can be aggressive.

"We won a lot of balls really high up the pitch which was key to us retaining the pressure and keeping them under."
