Former Barcelona star Juliano Belletti has hinted Philippe Coutinho needs an extra shot of self-belief.

Belletti has urged Barca to stick with the Brazil international, who is fresh from helping his nation to win the Copa America.

He told Mundo Deportivo: "I spoke with Coutinho before the World Cup.

"I told him he could be one of the greats, he was surprised but I was convinced that he has a lot of level.

"He cannot leave. Right now Neymar is not there and you have to plan the team how it is."
