Hector Bellerin has told Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta he wants to leave.
The Athletic reports the 26-year-old has been linked with a move away from the Emirates during the transfer window, but nothing has materialised yet as suitors have been unable to meet the Gunners' valuation for the full-back.
Inter Milan were in talks with the north London club, but the Italians could only offer a loan deal, with an option to buy or an obligation to buy based on specific conditions.
Arsenal are only willing to entertain a permanent deal or a loan with an obligation to buy to guarantee they would receive a fee for the Spaniard.
But Bellerin is growing increasingly frustrated at what he feels is an unwillingness from the club to let him leave.
