Bellamy scored Cardiff's equaliser after a clever pass by Wilfried Zaha, and celebrated by putting his finger to his lips in the direction of home supporters.
Bellamy explained the gesture after the match, explaining that he was unhappy with how he saw fans turning on their own during the difficult first period.
"I haven't heard the crowd like that," said the 34-year-old, who is a lifelong Cardiff fan. "That's not the club I'm from.
"I saw them turn first half, and I've not been a part of that.
"I've not seen them direct it at individuals, which they did.
"Maybe that's modern football, maybe I'm trying to get used to that. It's not like us."
