Belgium coach Roberto Martinez is happy to see Thibaut Courtois establish himself at Real Madrid.

Courtois has seen off competition from Keylor Navas to become new coach Santiago Solari's outright No1.

And his Belgium boss Martinez said, "He is very consistent, he navigates the emotions at any extreme, good times, bad times and hard moments.

"He has been a great influence in the national team, the level of his performance has been very, very strong.

"I think he has always been very happy and enthusiastic in all aspects of his game."
