Belgium coach Roberto Martinez is full of praise for Real Madrid attacker Eden Hazard.

It's just been confirmed Hazard is out of the Clasico against Barcelona due to injury.

Martinez told El Larguero: "It's a shame he's out of the El Clasico. Hazard's injury is worse than it seems."

He continued: "I see Hazard winning the Ballon d'Or.

"What he has done in France is at the level of the Ballon d'Or and the profile he has is always eligible for the prize. He has done it at Chelsea and in France. It is difficult for a foreigner to be the reference of a project that works to win the League. He is a last-pass player, a Michael Jordan. Hazard is the Michael Jordan of football."
