Belgian whizkid Julien Ngoy to turn pro with Stoke

Belgian whizkid Julien Ngoy is expected to turn pro with Stoke City.

Ngoy has been training with Stoke's academy squad for much of the year.

The Daily Star says the 16-year-old Belgian youth international will sign professionally for the Potters this week.

Chief executive Tony Scholes and technical director Mark Cartwright have been desperate to keep the negotiations under wraps but it has now emerged a fee has been agreed and the striker will formally put pen to paper this week.
