A Belgian football expert does not believe that Manchester United and Arsenal are interested in Yannick Carrasco.
Kristof Terreur, who is a prominent Belgian journalist, suggests that reports of a move to the Premier League are bogus.
Italian reports had claimed Carrasco was a target for the two Premier League clubs.
But Terreur wrote on Twitter: "Yannick Carrasco linked with Arsenal by Sky Italia, just like in January 2018, before he moved to China.
"Man United mentioned too - cheap name dropping.
"A transfer will be expensive (wages & fee) and is he physically ready to make an immediate impact in the PL?"
Terreur went on to tweet: "With heavy investment in new signings and contracts over the past year, Arsenal don't have significant funds to spend in January.
"Eyeing loan deals rather than permanent moves."
