Asmir Begovic is delighted with the way Bournemouth are defending in recent games.

The Cherries conceded four goals to Burnley a month ago. Since then, only one goal has gone in against the side in the Premier League.

Bournemouth have climbed to sixth in the Premier League table, only four points away from the top four positions.

And Begovic knows that everyone in the team deserves credit for ensuring the opposition create as few chances as possible.

He told the club website: "The boys in front of me have been absolutely magnificent, blocking so many shots and doing their jobs really well.

"Hopefully, Burnley was just a one-off. Continuity is important – the understanding is there.

"We have a really good relationship and fight for each other and that is a good recipe for success in the defensive unit."
