Beckham threatens Man Utd plans for Boca Juniors wonderkid Almendra

Manchester United are interested in Boca Juniors wonderkid Agustin Almendra.

AS says along with United, the 19-year-old is also on the radar of Inter Miami - the new US franchise club of course owned by the legendary David Beckham.

And the chance to be a little part of history in the debut season in MLS could prove a strong pull.

Almendra is on United's list of transfer targets, but club officials have yet to meet with the player's representatives.

However Almendra's agent HAS held discussions already with Inter Miami

Signing the Argentinian would be another example of boss Ole Gunnar Solksjaer wanting to give youth a chance at the club.

Dan James was signed in the summer from Swansea and has already featured in 23 games this season.
