Manchester United Treble winner David Beckham has been approached by several bidders to front their takeover plans.
United owners the Glazers revealed in November they are willing to sell up after 17 years in charge for at least £4.5billion, but the fee could go up to £6bn.
Various parties are lining up offers ahead of Friday's "soft" deadline with the Red Devils' legendary manager Sir Alex Ferguson also tipped to be asked by bidders to help them.
The Telegraph says Beckham has also been approached but he he has so far turned down all offers to be involved in the United bidding.
It's also suggested the ex-England captain would not be part of any offer from Qatar, despite being made a football ambassador for the country ahead of last year's World Cup
