Bayern Munich's honorary president Franz Beckenbauer would welcome the signing of Real Madrid midfielder Sami Khedira. Bayern are in the market for a new midfield signing after losing Javi Martinez for the season with a serious knee injury.
"Khedira would work in any team," Beckenbauer told Sport Bild. "He would fit in perfectly at Bayern.
"He is exceptionally good in his position of number six. He could play alongside [Bastian] Schweinsteiger or [Philipp] Lahm. He would be perfect."
