Australian defender Michael Beauchamp looks likely to leave Danish club Aalborg BK. After enduring a horror season surrounded by injuries and suspension, the 28-year old admits he may have to move on.
"It has certainly been a year to forget. The worst season in my football career," he said.
"I have been told the club will bring in a new defence and that has meaning for me.
"Right now I do not know what to expect. I have no idea about next season."
Aalborg sports director Lynge Jakobsen said that the club were prepared to let the former Central Coast Mariners man leave the club.
"Beauchamp has had a very unfortunate start at AaB and he has not quite been able to convince us that he must be in the team," Jakobsen claimed.
"If there is an opportunity for Beauchamp to find something else, then I think we can say that we will not stand in his way."
