Bayern Munich won't rival Arsenal, Liverpool in Lemar auction

Bayern Munich won't compete with Premier League clubs in January for Monaco winger Thomas Lemar.

The France international remains a target for Arsenal and Liverpool ahead of the January market, however Bayern were also keen in August.

Kicker says Bayern chief Hasan Salihamidzic confirmed they tried to sign Lemar, but were not interested in Monaco's €90m price.

Monaco won't rule out selling the midfielder in January, but Bayern will leave him to English rivals.

Both Arsenal and Liverpool continue to be linked with Lemar.
