Bayern Munich winger Arjen Robben admits he held talks with Juventus two seasons ago.
Robben famously turned down Juve via text.
"It did not depend on Juventus, I was happy at Bayern Munich at that time and that is why the transfer did not happen," the 30-year-old told Gazzetta dello Sport.
"Juventus are a fantastic club and if such an important team shows an interest in you, then it is an honour.
"I was very clear with them, I sent a text message to thank them and show that I appreciated their interest.
"The Bianconeri told me that the door would always be open for me."
