Bayern Munich winger Arjen Robben says quitting Real Madrid was the best decision of his career.

Robben left Real almost ten years ago - a move which created great controversy at the time.

But the Dutchman says he has no regrets as he kicks off his tenth season with the German giants.

"When I was at Real and Bayern wanted me, at first I was skeptical, I did not know if it was the right decision," Robben reflected.

"Now I can say it was the best decision of my career."
