Bayern Munich want permission to check on the fitness of Chelsea midfielder Callum Hudson-Odoi.

The BILD says Bayern intend to send club doctor Hans-Wilhelm Muller-Wohlfahrt to assess Hudson-Odoi's injury.

The Bundesliga giants still want to sign Hudson-Odoi this summer but will wait to see the extent of the injury before submitting another bid.

Bayern made several offers rising to £45million in January with Chelsea holding their youngster back on the bench.

Hudson-Odoi has just over a year to run on his current deal.
