Bayern Munich superkid Jamal Musiala has pledged his international future to Germany.
The former Chelsea trainee was a regular with England youth teams, but has now announced he will play his senior football with Germany.
He told the Athletic: "In the end I just listened to my feelings. And this decision feels 100% right to me. My heart is divided between Germany and England, but both sides will continue to beat. I've thought about it a lot.
"I had a very honest conversation with Joachim Löw. We met in person in Munich and he showed me a very clear path in the national team. He and (team manager Oliver) Bierhoff showed a lot of interest in me, they wanted to understand what I was impressed by how well informed they were about me. Mister Löw elaborated and analysed my style of play, my strengths and weaknesses in depth.
"He sees me as an attacking midfielder and appreciates my qualities. (Hansi) Flick and my Bayern team-mates also contributed to this decision."
