Bayern Munich striker Thomas Muller is urging Robert Lewandowski to stay.
Lewandowski wants to join Barcelona this summer and has this week declared his time with Bayern is "over".
Muller told Kicker: “Lewandowski has a valid contract and I would like my longtime attacking teammate to stay, our connection on the pitch is well known. But of course, given the situation, things can turn out differently. In general, the club is bigger than us players.
"I just remind you of Franck's (Ribery) wish to go to Real Madrid at some point. One thing is certain: every player still under contract in Munich on September 1 will want to play well. Because playing badly isn't fun for any player."
