Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski admits Real Madrid stars have urged him to join them in the past.

Lewandowski admits he was always aware the likes of Sergio Ramos and Cristiano Ronaldo, now of Juventus, wanted him to make the move to Madrid.

He recalled: "I think it was two years ago, they came to me saying, 'Come here! You have to play with us'.

"But you know, if you play at a high level they all say: he can go there or there. But it's not important to me. I know this feeling after everything you do, many teams want you but the most important thing is what I want, and what I decide."
