Bayern Munich star Kimmich: I knew Burki was off his line!

Bayern Munich star Joshua Kimmich admits that his side studied opposition goalkeeper Roman Burki.

The latter was chipped by Kimmich from 20 yards to get the first and only goal in a tense game between Bayern and Borussia Dortmund.

The goal, Kimmich's 27th for club and country, helped Bayern go seven points clear of Dortmund on top of the Bundesliga table.

"That was the best goal of my career - it was so important," he said, quoted on Bayern's official website.

"We were told before the game that Burki often stands off his line."

The win moves Bayern seven points ahead of Borussia Dortmund, and they are now the heavy favorites to go on and win the Bundesliga.

The match was played behind closed doors, which did somewhat dampen the typical energy and frenziness you would expect from a BVB-Bayern clash.
