Bayern Munich could thwart Arsenal's plans for Achraf Hakimi.
New Bayern boss Julian Nagelsmann is drawing up a list of transfer targets for the summer.
And the Daily Express says Hakimi is high up on his wish-list.
The 22-year-old is currently enjoying life with Inter Milan, having just won the Serie A title with the Nerazzurri.
It is believed Inter would be reluctant to sell Hakimi.
The news comes as a blow to Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta, who has identified the Morocco international as a replacement for Hector Bellerin.
Whilst the Gunners are expected to spend this summer, it is hard to envisage a situation where they would outbid Bayern to sign Hakimi.
Bellerin is being linked with Barcelona and PSG.
