Bayern Munich push Man City to be realistic about Sane price

Bayern Munich are prepared to sign Leroy Sane next month - so long as Manchester City are realistic about their valuation.

Bayern were ready to buy Sane in August before the midfielder suffered a serious knee injury in the Community Shield against Liverpool.

But while he is still working through his rehab, Bayern are prepared to sign Sane in January, says Kicker, if City are realistic about a price.

It's been suggested Bayern would have to go over €100m to land Sane - but the German giants believe €50-60m is a proper price for a player still recovering from knee surgery.

If a deal cannot be settled, Bayern chiefs are willing to return in the summer to sign Sane for a fee closer to their assessment.
