Bayern Munich president Uli Hoeness says they're prepared to meet the buyout clause of Atletico Madrid defender Lucas Hernandez.
Lucas can be signed for €85m by Bayern if Atletico refuse to negotiate terms this summer.
"I imagine that we will pay it if it gives us the opportunity to bring him here," said Hoeness, who also took the opportunity to make clear that Lucas meets all the requirements wanted at Bayern.
"He is world champion," he added.
Hoeness also said of on-loan Real Madrid attacker James Rodriguez: "It depends on what our coach wants.
"If he tells us that he wants James for next season, we will pay the €42m (option), it only depends on what we want, we have an option that we can run until May or not, if we decide yes, he will have to stay, but we still have not made a decision about him."
