Bayern Munich midfielder Jamal Musiala is flattered to be likened to Lionel Messi.

Bayern legend Lothar Matthaus has made the claim about the former Chelsea youth teamer.

The Germany international told Bold: "Comparison with Messi is a great honour, but Messi has played at the top level all his life.

"It's hard to compare anyone to Messi – I just want to focus on myself and what I can do better as Jamal."

The 19-year-old has already been able to play 100 competitive matches for the Germans.
