Bayern Munich are maintaining contact with Manchester City attacker Leroy Sane.

BILD says a meeting took place last week between Bayern's sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic and LIAN Sports, who will represent Sane going forward.

The club chief is reported to have been in contact with LIAN Sports for a considerable period of time.

Moreover, it's believed that Damir Smoljan and Fali Ramadani have held talks with the Bavarians about their new client, with LIAN Sports representing the 24-year-old from April 1.

Things will start progressing quicker after this month.

Salihamidzic plans on making the winger his marquee signing during the next window, with his market value of £92million making him the most valuable German footballer currently.

It's rumoured that they'll offer 'top terms' to the attacker on a five-year deal.
