Bayern Munich management split over Chelsea striker Werner

Bayern Munich management are split on the prospect of bringing Chelsea striker Timo Werner back to the Bundesliga.

Werner is being considered by Bayern as a replacement for Robert Lewandowski, reports Sport1.

Bayern coach Julian Nagelsmann is keen to see the deal done, having worked with Werner at RB Leipzig.

However, sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic isn't as enthusiastic and would prefer to look elsewhere.

Werner left RBL two seasons ago for Chelsea.
