Bayern Munich have made a new offer for Manchester City defender Jerome Boateng.

talkSPORT says Bayern have bid £7 million for the Germany international.

Boateng, 22, has told City he wants to leave and the club have accepted they will have to take a hit on the fee they paid for him last year.

And Munich are now confident terms can be agreed, with a medical due to take place early next week.
