Bayern Munich goalkeeper Manuel Neuer admits he feels for Loris Karius over his demise at Liverpool.

Ahead of their Champions League showdown, Neuer admits he's impressed by Reds counterpart Alisson Becker.

He said: "I like his style. I've seen him at Rome, and I've seen him in the Brazil team, he's doing a great job."

Munich's No.1 also revealed the sadness he felt watching compatriot Loris Karius in last season's Champions League final.

"I was with the national team, and we all watched the game together. We hoped that he would do well - he's a German keeper.

"I really felt for him. It was a sad day for goalkeepers."
