Bayern Munich identify Griezmann as Robben replacement

Atletico Madrid face another battle next year to keep hold of Antoine Griezmann.

Having successfully fought off Barcelona last summer, Atletico now face a new front as Bayern Munich eye off their No7.

Corriere dello Sport says Bayern chiefs are ready to move for Griezmann after confirming the end of season departure of Arjen Robben.

The Frenchman penned terms to 2023 before the World Cup, but that won't put off Bayern.

Just this week, Bayern president Uli Hoeness said they would be willing to pay big money for the right signing - at the right age.

Discussing Juventus' deal for Cristiano Ronaldo, Hoeness said: "He is 33 years old and for us he would have cost 100 million euros.

"But we would have done it with our eyes closed for that amount if he were 24 years old."
