Bayern Munich recognise they'll have to begin with a new slate in negotiations for Manchester City attacker Leroy Sane.

While still eager to bring the former Schalke starlet back to Germany this summer, Bayern accept a change of agents means they'll have to start all over again talks over personal terms and fees with City.

Sane dropped David Beckham's DB Ventures Limited to go with LIAN Sports last week and Kicker says the prospect "of a move to Munich is by no means sure".

"Well informed sources" state negotiations between all parties must now begin from scratch.

Sane is recovering from knee surgery after breaking down in the Community Shield at the start of the season.
